In the remote region of the Central Highlands of Papua New Guinea, it wasn’t until the 1950’s that first contact was made with the white man. There had always been a lot of tribal clashing on the island, so the English organized the first “Sing Sing” in 1954 to help promote harmony. The Sing Sing was used to share celebrate the island’s cultural diversity.  Papa New Guinea has over 800 unique tribes, each
speaking their own unique language, sometimes getting along is a matter of communication and simply meeting the other on common ground. In 2009, over 150 different tribes were in attendance at the sing Sing at Mount Hagan, including the formidable presence of the Huli Warriors.

All Limited Edition Collector’s Series pieces are printed on museum rag paper or museum edition canvas using archival pigment inks. Limited Edition Collector’s Series pieces ship, print only.  If choosing a paper, your piece will ship with a 1.5 inch white border around the entirety of the image where they are signed, titled, numbered and embossed over the dated signature.  If choosing canvas, the pieces will be shipped with a 1.5″-2″ mirror to allow for the piece to be stretched over 1.5″-2″ stretcher bars. Canvas pieces are signed and numbered on bottom right front of the image unless otherwise requested. All Limited Edition Collector’s Series pieces are shipped unframed and tubed with a Certificate of Authenticity.  We include recommendations on how to frame your new art to insure maximum style and longevity.  Edition numbers are the total in the edition and independent of size.  There are not multiple editions for different sizes.  Only one number, one edition.

Initialed Open Edition Prints are printed on photographic paper and matted in an off white, 4-ply acid free matte. Open Edition Prints are initialed on the front of the matte as well as on the print itself, in verso.  All Open Edition Matted Prints fit standard frames.
