Davis is currently offering his latest traveling mixed media cultural exhibit, Oaxacan Gold, to art centers and museums around the State of Texas and beyond. The purpose of this exhibition is to bring awareness to the stunning beauty, cultural depth and mystical nature of the great Mexican State of Oaxaca through an educational multi-media cultural experience of Davis’ photography, a Master folk art exhibit, textiles and traditional dance. The exhibition is currently available for hire for 2023-2025. Oaxacan Gold premiered at the NEW Art Center Waco the summer of 2022: OAXACAN GOLD PREMIERE. Tickets to the opening night premiere SOLD OUT in three days! The exhibition was on display from May 10th to Aug 13th, 2022. The second opening of Oaxacan Gold was also a huge success. Over four hundred admirers and collectors attended the opening night event at the Georgetown Art Center on August 27th, 2022. The exhibition ran from August 26th thru Sept 24th, 2022, and was free and open to the public. The cultural and educational experience was partially funded by grants from the Texas Commision for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
