Established in November 2012, Gusto Studios was a re-purposed studio, gallery and event space located at 2309 Thornton Road #M, Austin, Texas 78704, in the Thornton Road Studios Complex in the heART of South Austin, presenting the photographic works of National Geographic Image Collection Photographer Greg Davis.

Several times a year, Gusto had art and music events to help raise awareness for local non profit organizations. Talented local musical acts played to a crowd of art lovers and all worked together to raise money and awareness for organizations being represented. Past musical acts included, Monte Montgomery, The Whiskey Sisters, Atash, Kalu James, Charlie Mars, Carolyn Wonderland and more. Partnered organizations have included Well Aware, the Hope Campaign and Love, Hope, Strength.

Gusto Studios was selected as a “Hidden Gem: Shopping” by Austin Monthly Magazine in 2014 and is open by appointment.  Please contact us at info@gregdavisphotography.com to schedule a drop by.

Greg was Feature Artist at La Dolce Vita at Austin Museum of Art’s La Guna Gloria as well as the Feature Artist at the Umlauf Garden Party. He has also exhibited his work at the Austin Museum of Art’s Night in the Galleries, the International Art Expo in NYC, the Blanton Musuem, the Georgetown Art Center, the Abilene Contemporary Art Center and numerous juried shows across the US. He is a published and contributing photographer to National Geographic, has been published internationally, as well as in the United States, including National Geographic.com, the New York Times and MSNBC.com.
