Now in it’s 50th year, Cottonwood features over 240 artists chosen to exhibit their museum-quality work from approximately 1,400 submissions.  Cottonwood Art Festival is located in Richardson, Texas where artists exhibit their work among towering oaks with lakeside beauty.  Cottonwood continues to uphold its extraordinary reputation as a first rate show. 2018 marks the 50th anniversary for this exceptional event. Sponsored by The City of Richardson, Cottonwood Art Festival is a showcase for a large variety of fine art and fine craft and provides our patrons with the opportunity to meet and talk with the artist who created the work. Live entertainment, a Friday night gala for the artists and guests, a children’s art area and much more round out this perfect weekend in the park for both artist and patrons of the arts.
