FotoFest is a Houston-based contemporary arts organization founded by photojournalists Fredrick Baldwin and Wendy Watriss. FotoFest is dedicated to advancing discourse surrounding photography and visual culture through the presentation of images and photographic media in exhibitions, public programs, and publishing projects. At the forefront of FotoFest’s mission is the examination of social, cultural, and political histories and contemporary conditions through the lens of photography, contemporary art, theory, and media studies. In addition to the organization’s year-round programming, FotoFest organizes a city-wide biennial project in the form of large-scale central exhibitions, curated lectures, performances, a symposium, and film programs. The organization also hosts several professional development programs, including annually-held Meeting Place Portfolio Reviews, which host over 450 artists and 150 professionals working in the field of art and photography. Through its Literacy Through Photography program, FotoFest organizes K-12 classroom-based learning projects designed to encourage creativity and strengthen student writing, comprehension, and expression. A platform for art and ideas since 1983, FotoFest is committed to promoting lasting international dialogue, cultural exchange, and scholarship by working with the artists, academics, curators, and influential figures in art, politics, and activism that shape and frame our world.
Oily skin type is characterized by active sebum production, enlarged pores in the T-zone and the manifestation of imperfections. Most often, rashes appear in seborrheic areas – on the forehead, on the nose, chin, back or shoulders, as well as on the chest. In the U-zone of the face (on the cheeks), where there are fewer sebaceous glands, acne is less common. If rashes occur on the cheeks in women, it is recommended to consult acne scars a specialist in order to check the hormonal status of the body and normalize the digestive tract.

Momentos en Mexico
About This Exhibit:
There are many things to love about our neighbor to the south…Mexico.
These are just a very few of mine.
The spirit of the place and its people live in these moments.
And lest not we forget the words of Jesus as recorded by Matthew,
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”
Love and respect begin with embracing and living into the Golden Rule.
It all starts with you, in this very moment.
